1/09/06 Look forward to a new Breaking Tides website soon! 12/20/05 Thanks so much to everyone who came out and supported us at the two battles we had this one. We have advanced in the Emergenza worldwide battle, so we will be playingin April for the second round. Also, we placed 6th in the Murphy's Law Grand Battle on Sunday. You can check out pictures from both shows in the photo section. We greatly apologize to everyone who came out expecting a full set and getting only 4 songs. As you all know, the show was shortened due to a car accident that our guitar player Luis was involved in. We all thank God that Luis is not injured, and we hope everyone drives safely. Again, we apologize for the short show, but we will be hosting a free show for everyone to make up for this. We will be playing for 4 hours on February 18th at the St. Bernadett Carnival. So everyone can come out and enjoy a free show! There is also something else to look forward to from Breaking Tides. We are taking off this time from playing constant shows to work on a new Demo/EP for a spring 2006 release. It will feature 4-5 brand new songs. Our website is also going under a remodeling session, so look forward to a cleaner and more accessible website early next year as well. 12/15/05 Hey Everyone! Breaking Tides needs your support again! We won the preliminary battle of the bands, but now we are in the running for the GRAND BATTLE at the Murphy's Law in the Seminole Hard Rock Casino!!!! This means that we are competing with some of South Florida's best local bands. We need everyone to come this time, and we mean EVERYONE! Its going to be a HUGE show. It is also the same point system, so that means the more people that vote to see Breaking Tides, the more points we get added to our final score. We could get meetings with WARNER BROTHERS A&R REPS!!! (Talent Scouts for WB) and also up to $5000 in prizes. So please come to support us and we will make sure you leave entertained. We are performing a brand new song as well as having a special solo performance by Luis! So again, please come.... and tell all of your friends. Spread the flyer around and let everyone know. 11/29/05 Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us to help us win FIRST PLACE at the Murhpy's Law Battle of the Bands. This means that we have a show December 18th, the Grand Battle! We need everyone to come support us again and make it one of the most amazing shows we have ever played. There will be Warner Bros. Records A&R Reprasentatives judging us, so we want to make sure we bring a crowd that loves us! Thanks again for supporting us. See you December 18th! 11/21/05 So, we have come in second and third place at the Murphy's Law Battle of the Bands, but now it is time to go for the gold. Thats right, we need EVERYONE, all of our fans and friends to come out and watch our performance on November 27th at 3:10pm at the Murphy's Law. The more people that come to see Breaking Tides, the more points we get added to our score. If we bring enough, we will win first place! So please, tell everyone. 10/14/05 Hey everyone! Thanks to those who came and saw us out at the Bank Atlantic Center for the Panther's Pre-Game! We will be doing it again next Thursday! Buy a ticket, go see us and then the Panthers! Tickets are cheap!
